B.J. Bellock has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, dedicating most of his career to working with Alternative Investors, including Hedge Funds, Venture Capital Funds and Private Equity Funds along with other Institutional Investors. He has served in senior positions including fixed income trading, sales and sales management at Bank Of America, Deutsche Bank, Common Wealth Bank of Australia and Dean Witter. He also has extensive experience as a former Financial Consultant. As an adjunct Professor, he has taught various undergraduate financial courses at the Connecticut campus of Phoenix University, as well running seminars for students and the public, and is certified to teach Corporate Training classes.
Currently BJ is working as an independent consultant. He holds a Masters in Finance and a Masters in Accounting from the Fordham University Graduate School of Business.
As a Bloomberg Sales Manager I am responsible for the development and execution of a regional sales strategy aimed at selling Bloomberg’s entire suite of products to existing customers and prospects,while increasing customer engagement and out performing sales targets and goals. I am also tasked with the development and career progression of the Sales Representatives, Account Managers, and Team Leaders in my department.
Pierre is an angel investor, an entrepreneur, a corporate growth advisor, and the father of four college-age children. He is also a Partner at HPM Partners where, with his 32 partners and 50 associates in six offices, he works with owners of businesses on their growth strategies, M&A, financing, liquidity, wealth management, cross-border/multi-national issues, estate planning and tax strategies; and for his multi-generational and family clients, he brings several lifetimes of dealing with family dynamics, trusts, business-ownership, family charters and youth education as a member of two large, historic business families. Before HPM Partners, Pierre was at Two Sigma Investments, where he raised capital for the firm’s quant hedge funds and he invested capital in private deals in Mainland China and elsewhere. Previously he was an entrepreneur, co-founding three software companies resulting in one IPO in 1993, one acquisition that led to an IPO in 2010, and one total disaster. After getting a BScE at Princeton in 1982, Pierre started his career at Bolt, Beranek & Newman (BBN) as a research scientist and software engineer in computational linguistics, parallel processing, and statistical data analysis.
Ashley has been in the FX industry for over 10 years in a variety of positions, both in his native England and in the US.
At AFEX he is currently responsible for the acquisition, management and maintenance of corporate, institutional and high net worth clients. Specifically focused on the ‘Alternative Investment’ space in North America, Ashley has created a vast network of highly skilled professionals that can assist with every aspect of a cross border transaction. He is often engaged to speak on foreign exchange strategies at networking and partner events.
Ashley also leads the New York office of AFEX. Under his watch the team has doubled in size and has developed expertise in a variety of industries.
Ashley holds a BA honors degree in Services Marketing and Economics from the University of Bournemouth in England. In his spare time Ashley is an avid rower, and raced at Regattas across the country at both collegiate and club level. He and his wife live in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey
Gabrielle Guttman is the President and Founder of Connext Consulting Inc., a business development, strategic introductions, marketing, events and PR/IR consultancy. Prior to founding Connext, Gabrielle was VP of Business Development & Marketing for Southridge LLC. She was responsible for hedge fund marketing, public/investor relations and marketing financial products to global public companies. Before joining Southridge, Gabrielle worked for Kroll Inc., Grey Group Inc., and the investment banking division of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. Throughout her career, Gabrielle has been an active volunteer and currently holds leadership positions with not-for-profit and philanthropic organizations focused on the financial services industry, women’s initiatives and children’s development. Notable affiliations include 100 Women in Hedge Funds, HedgeNY, Portfolios with Purpose, ALTSO, High Water Women, the Hedge Fund Association, the Connecticut Hedge Fund Association, and Barnard Business and Professional Women. Eric S. Lazear re-joined IAM in May 2014 as COO and CCO, International Asset Management Limited, LLC, responsible for US Operations, Global Operational Due Diligence and US Compliance. He has over 22 years of investment management experience and over 13 years of experience in the hedge fund and fund of hedge funds industry. Prior to re-joining IAM, he was Global Head of Operational Risk at FQS Capital Partners. Previously, he launched the Global Hedge Fund Operational Risk Due Diligence service at Duff & Phelps and was also Global Head of Operational Risk and Due Diligence at FIM USA. He has also held Financial Consulting and Risk roles at J.P.Morgan Chase and W. J. Nolan & Company. He has a BBA in Marketing and Accounting from Hofstra University and an MBA from Baruch College and is based in New York.
Jonathan Luttwak is Co-Head of Global Alternative Investment Services at Cushman & Wakefield. He founded and currently leads a global team of professionals that specialize in the commercial real estate needs of the alternative investment community. Jon has been a real estate professional since his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army in 2005 and has been directly involved with hundreds of complex real estate transactions. He focuses on office leasing in midtown but through his team can seamlessly incorporate all of Cushman’s services including real estate equity and debt, office leasing, property appraisal, and project management in key markets around the world.
Prior to beginning his real estate career, Jonathan served as a United States Army officer, reaching the grade of captain. He deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 and also supported operation Enduring Freedom in Kuwait following September 11th. Jon graduated from the United States Military Academy with a B.S. in systems engineering and received his MBA from Columbia Business School.
Jon is active in numerous charities and is a Vice President of the West Point Society of New York, a management committee member for the New York Hedge Fund Roundtable, and an officer on the Board of the West Point Jewish Chapel Fund.

Sarah Tomolonius is the Vice President – Marketing & Investor Relations at Arlon Group. Prior to joining Arlon, she was an Investor Relations Associate with Citi Private Equity/StepStone Group LLC from 2008-2010; a Research Analyst with Edelman from 2005-2007; and a Program Assistant for the Water and Coastal Program of the Natural Resources Defense Council from 2002-2005. Sarah serves as the co-chair of the Membership Committee and leads the CSR/Sustainability initiative at the New York Hedge Fund Roundtable, on the Young Executive Board of iMentor and on the Executive Council of the Alumni Council at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University. Sarah received her BA in English from Vassar College and her MPA from SIPA at Columbia University, where she received a fellowship for International Finance and Policy.
Brian Toth, CFA, is a tenured credit analyst with 11+ years of experience in corporate credit analysis, counterparty credit risk assessment and sovereign risk determination. He has diversified experience across energy and retail sectors, as well as consumer products and services, and has expertise in high-yield, investment grade and distressed securities. Most recently, in 2013, Brian was a Private Equity Consultant for APG Asset Management, where he performed due diligence on leveraged buyout funds. Prior, from 2011-2012, he was with APG Asset Management as a Credit Analyst Consultant where he was responsible for buy, sell and hold recommendations of 90 existing investment-grade, high-yield and distressed companies in the energy and retail sectors. Brian’s additional experience includes his time as a Personal Investor (2008-2011), with Paloma Partners, LLP Hedge Fund as an Analyst (2006-2008), and Babson Capital Management as a Director and Senior Credit Analyst, and Associate Director (2001-2006).
Brian recommended a conservative weighting in the high-yield energy sector comprised of low cost E&P’s in mid-2014, including Concho Resources, Pioneer Natural Resources, and Continental Resources; he placed sell/pass recommendations on E&P’s that were significant gas producers in early 2012, including Forest Oil, Quicksilver Resources, LINN Energy, Chesapeake Energy and Samson Resources while at APG Asset Management. Brian recommended an overweight in the high-yield retail sector in early 2009 as an independent consultant, which included Neiman Marcus, Saks Department Store and Sally Beauty Holdings. While Brian was at Paloma Partners, the SBZ Select Investments portfolio returned 11% in 2007, outperforming the Lehman High-Yield Retail Index. Brian recommended an overweight of retail names in the Babson High-Yield Fund to help propel the fund to outperformance in 2005-2006. Brian recommended an underweight to retailers, consumer products and service companies that had a significant exposure to the US residential housing market as early as 2004.
Brian is on the Management Committee at the New York Hedge Fund Roundtable. Brian is on the Special Committee (Task Force) of the Fixed-Income Analysts Society Board.
Brian received an MBA in finance from the Simon School (University of Rochester) in 2001; he received a BS in accounting and finance from SUNY/Buffalo in 1990. Brian has been a CFA charterholder since 1998.
Ms. Reph oversees Business Development in the Client Data Solutions division of Bloomberg LP. In her 16 years at Bloomberg she has been responsible for cultivating talent and developing businesses that generated more than $400 million in annual revenue. Her experience spans a broad spectrum of clients in North and South America and include longstanding relationships with the Hedge Fund, Banking and Investment Management community.

Prior to joining Bloomberg LP, Susan was a Sales Manager at MetLife, owned an Aromatherapy firm, and spent several years working in the mortgage-backed new issue divisions of Salomon Brothers and Lehman Brothers. She holds a BS degree in Finance. Fun facts: Susan was a flight attendant for a brief time, lived in the Caribbean for a year and back packed around the world for 14 months.
